Description
Also called water pressure regulators, water pressure reducing valves are compact, inexpensive valves that perform two functions: They automatically reduce the high incoming water pressure from the city mains to provide a lower, more functional pressure for distribution in the home.
PRV – Pressure Reducing Valve For RO Water Purifier – Suitable for All Brand Water Purifer.
PRVs are installed in residential, semi-commercial and public buildings to reduce and stabilise the inlet water pressure. If the mains or boosted water pressure is too high, then the heating system may not work as intended and the components in the system may be susceptible to damage.
The ideal pressure for operating an RO system is 60 PSI. Pressure below 40 PSI is generally considered insufficient, and should be boosted using a pressure booster pump.
Most FilmTec™ Seawater RO Elements are approved for operation up to 45°C and 83 bar (1200 psi).
